    Rick Stein; Porthleven

    While exploring the Cornish coast this Christmas, we stumbled up Rick Stein’s restaurant in Porthleven! Set beside this delightful little harbour, we settled for a delicious dinner!   First course:  COARSE PORK TERRINE  Served with beetroot chutney and sourdough.As titled, the terrine definitely was course and the soughbread quite hard, but both were complimented by the chutney very well. Second Course: GRILLED CORNISH HAKE. With laksa noodlesand sambal belacan We couldn’t come here without trying the fish; and it was absolutely delicious and probably one of my favourite fish dishes!
